Grant applications
We apply for grants that support youth development, learning and wider opportunity.
Our promise to families
We know that a big trip already comes with costs. Ways2Raise is designed to help families work towards the goal without adding another membership bill.
The simple answer
Building, improving, safeguarding and running a useful resource site still costs money. The point is not to make a family responsible for those costs; it is to be open about how we aim to meet them while keeping the practical support free.
How the work can be supported
We apply for grants that support youth development, learning and wider opportunity.
Businesses may pay to support Ways2Raise or provide an agreed sponsorship opportunity for young people.
Relevant paid placements can help fund the work, but they will be clearly identified as advertising.
Sometimes, if a family chooses a clearly labelled partner link, Ways2Raise may earn a commission from that partner.
Our reassurance test
The test is simple: would we be happy to recommend it to a family if we made nothing at all? If the answer is no, it does not belong on Ways2Raise.
Clear at the point it matters
If a company has paid for a placement, supported an opportunity or offers an affiliate link, we will use a clear label alongside that item. You should never have to hunt through a footer or guess whether a link has a commercial relationship behind it.
Our priority remains the interests, safety and development of young people. A commercial relationship does not decide what guidance we give or what we recommend to families.
Open and transparent
The aim is simple: take pressure off families, keep practical support available, and be open about the partnerships that help us do that. If you have a question about how Ways2Raise is funded, we would be pleased to hear from you.
