The young person
Builds their own Fundraising Business Web Page, chooses practical ideas, takes the next action and learns how real income, costs and profit work.
Ways2Raise helps young people and their parents take ownership of the fundraising journey behind a school trip, Scout expedition, DofE or adventure abroad. You stay focused on leading an exceptional experience; we give each family a clear, practical route to work towards the cost.
Free core tools for every family. No subscription. Ways2Raise never handles or takes a percentage of fundraising money.
When you introduce an ambitious trip, families often have one immediate question: “How will we afford it?” A list of ideas alone does not answer that question. Young people need a route, parents need reassurance, and Trip Leaders need a practical way to bring the team together.
Ways2Raise turns fundraising into a parent-supported learning journey. Every young person builds a plan, learns to take useful action, tracks what is coming in and going out, and develops confidence that will still matter when the trip is over.
Built from more than two decades of helping over 10,000 young people and their families work towards life-changing expeditions with major youth-travel and adventure organisations.
Ways2Raise gives each person the right support without turning a Trip Leader into a fundraising administrator or asking parents to do the young person’s work for them.
Builds their own Fundraising Business Web Page, chooses practical ideas, takes the next action and learns how real income, costs and profit work.
Helps make sensible decisions, keeps real-world activity safe and has a private Parent Lounge for practical guidance and reassurance.
Sets the shared trip context, encourages the group and will have a focused Staff Room for team progress, group fundraising and parent updates.
The Staff Room is being designed as a dedicated space for verified Trip Leaders. It will help you create a coded Trip Team, understand the group fundraising picture and share useful updates with parents in the right place.
The aim is a clear invitation rather than an extra administration task for you or a confusing sign-up process for families.
You name the trip in the Staff Room and receive a unique Trip Team Code to share through your normal group communication.
Parents use Link with the Trip Leader from their Ways2Raise account and see what their connection will share.
You see the same progress figure a family has chosen to display on its published Fundraising Business Web Page.
Trip Team updates sit in the parent’s PIN-protected Parent Lounge, not in an adult-to-student direct-message channel.
The Staff Room will not be a second copy of the family Toolkit. It will put the group materials you need first, while making it easy to point parents and young people towards the right Ways2Raise help.
Ways2Raise is designed around parent involvement, young people’s ownership and careful sharing. The Staff Room must follow the same standard.
Talk to Ways2Raise about supporting the young people and families travelling with you. We will help you understand the free family journey and the Staff Room model being built for Trip Leaders.
Ways2Raise supports the fundraising and skills journey around the trip. It does not organise travel, hold family money or replace your own safeguarding and trip-management responsibilities.
